Preface

Cerebral vascular disease is popular and important for radiologists. Understanding of correlation of function and anatomy is necessary as well as knowledge of radiological findings for appropriate diagnaosis. However,  it has been difficult with an ordinary text book becase of following 4
reasons:

(1)  It describes detail facts but has no theory enough to explain them.

(2)  Undetermined functions are correlated with complicated anatomy.

(3)   Function , tract, and anatomy are described confusedly.

(4)   There are so much information that we couldn't know what is fundamental to learn for the first.

This issue will overcome these difficulties  by following 4 means:

(1)   It has an essential theory to explain how functions and anatomy differentiated keeping correlation.

(2)   It determines certain functions based on the essential theory and enough to explain clinical symptoms, and correlates them with a simple  anatomical model which is also based on the theory.

(3)   It describes only in view of function. Words that confuse function, tract, and anatomy such as ''pyramidal tract'' or ''cerebellar function'' will NEVER appear.

(4)   It provides fundamental affairs for readers to understand the framework.  I believe that could cover  just 60% of all necessary contents of  this field.

Readers of this article are supposed to have  learned once with an ordinary text book, having kowledge of  most popular anatomical terms.
This article have been published earlier in Japanese in April, 2012.

Introduction

>>  This article presents how I understand the correlation of brain function and anatomy using sipmle and theorical models with original schemata.

 >>  To learn easily, it describes in items. The number of  items you have learned is the degree of that you have understand.

>>
To make everything simple, some of even popular functions, tracts and anatomical structures usually described in ordinary textbooks are ommited.

>>
To make everything clear , unique and appropriate terms may be used instead of traditional terms.

>>  To avoid confusion, terms, fugures, and colors are uniformed thorogh the article as possibl
